For supported outlets that switch a load on or off. Check the outlet’s rated load, the appliance’s startup behavior and the exact model. Energy readings are available only if the outlet exposes supported metering.

Compatibility depends on the device model, the control interface and the network. A shared protocol or connector alone does not guarantee that an appliance will work safely with AGS.

Choose the right control path
Infrared
For supported appliance commands through an IR head. The appliance needs suitable IR commands and placement. IR generally cannot confirm physical state after a command.
PWM through an adapter
For equipment with a validated adapter interface. The controller sends open-drain PWM commands; voltage, wiring and behavior must be checked per adapter and appliance.
Before you join a beta
- Keep the exact brand and model of each outlet, fan, light and climate appliance.
- Check voltage, maximum load, connector/interface and whether equipment resumes safely after power loss.
- Use a suitable local Wi-Fi network. Current Matter onboarding requires Android with Google Play services.
- Ask us about your models. There is no published complete tested-accessory list yet; we do not promise universal Matter, IR or PWM support.
- Do not assume Thread devices work through this Wi-Fi control path, or connect mains directly to controller signal ports.
Capacity is not qualification
The current firmware has capacity for up to 12 configured Matter outlets. Account limits vary by plan. This is not evidence of a physically qualified 12-outlet setup. Cable lengths, enclosure fit and complete accessory qualification remain open.
